Jamestown – The Anne Carlsen Center received the 2024 Community Development Award for its newly opened Ballantyne Berg Campus in Jamestown during last week’s Economic Development Association of North Dakota fall conference in Bismarck. This award recognizes development projects that enhance quality of life or bring about positive community impacts.

The new state-of-the-art, 110,000-square-foot facility is now the home for Anne Carlsen’s wide range of services, including educational programs, outpatient therapies, and residential care.

Designed to meet the needs of children and young adults with medically and behaviorally complex conditions, the campus offers private rooms, providing easier access to specialized adaptive and medical equipment. The design promotes a homier environment and fosters greater independence for residents.
