NDHP – On September 29 at 8:39pm a Dodge Caravan driven by Kaylene Dunn was traveling east on I-94 when it lost control and crossed the median into the westbound lanes. The Kenworth semi-truck driven by Vernon Bossen and trailer were traveling westbound in the right lane. The Dodge struck the middle of the semi-trailer on the driver’s side and was then run over by the rear trailer tires. Driver of the Dodge, Kaylene Dunn 41-year-old female, was pronounced deceased on scene and transported to Bismarck by Kidder County Ambulance to a local funeral home. The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol. I-94 Westbound lanes were closed for approximately 2 hours with traffic being diverted onto Old Highway 10.
