Jamestown – At the October 7th Jamestown City Council held a special Meeting to fill the vacant city council position, due to the passing of councilman Dan Buchanan.
Three candidates applied for this position: Matthew Woods, Pamela Phillips, and Shannon Davis.
Each had 3 minutes to tell who they were and why they would fit. Matthew Woods was not present at the council special meeting. The Council heard from Phillips and Davis.
Nominations of Pamela Phillips and Shannon Davis were made, with the final vote of 4 going to Pamela Phillips. Pamela has been on the council three times previously.
