NDHP – On October 22 at 2:40pm a Ford Transit Van was traveling westbound on Highway 200. John Deere UTV pulled out onto the highway from a north approach in front of the Ford. Ford applied its
brakes but struck the UTV on the driver side. The driver of the UTV was not wearing seatbelt
and ejected from it. No helmet also in use. Driver of Ford was transported to Sakakawea
Medical Center in Hazen for minor injuries. The driver of UTV was transported to Sakakawea
Medical Center then life-flighted to Sanford in Bismarck for serious injuries. The crash remains
under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
