VCSU football is headed to Madison, S.D. this weekend, fresh off their bye week. The Vikings are looking to even up the season series against conference opponent Dakota State University, after losing their first match up at home 19-8.
 
The Vikings are entering the matchup with a record of 2-4 overall and 1-3 in conference play. The Trojans are 4-3 overall and 2-3 in the conference. The Vikings enter this matchup coming off a dominant 38-7 Ag Bowl and Paint Bucket win over the Jimmies on the Oct. 12. The Trojans have dropped their last three games including last week’s 21-13 loss to the Jimmies.
 
Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. at Brian Kern Family Stadium in Madison, S.D. The game will be streamed by Dakota State University on their YouTube channel and will be covered by KOVC 1490 AM/96.3 FM. For those attending Dakota State is a cashless facility. Tickets must be purchased online.
