MOORHEAD, Minn. — The University of Jamestown women’s swimming and diving team won 11 of 13 events Wednesday evening, defeating Concordia College 165-66 in dual action at Memorial Auditorium Pool.
The Jimmies started off the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay, with the team of Lacie Robideau, Emma Pickrel, Cerys Williams, and Sofia Labrozzi touching the wall in a time of 1:56.91.
Miche Johns (11:25.66), Lindsey Goodrich (12:00.79), and Chea Baugh (13:05.73) finished 1-2-3 in the 1000 free, with Johns and Goodrich turning in new personal bests.
Robideau captured a pair of firsts in the 200 free and 200 back, with her time of 2:21.52 in the 200 back setting a new personal record.
Kyle Price (50 free, 100 free) joined Robideau with multiple event victories.
Williams won the 200 fly in a time of 2:21.73, Nia Hanson was first in the 500 free (6:09.06), and Pickrel first in the 200 breast (2:48.10). All three times were season bests.
The 200 free relay team of Johns, Dagbjorg Hlif Olafsdottir, Price, and Goodrich was first with a time of 1:46.32, and the team of Baugh, Daniela Huber, Hanson, and Lauren Anderson was second in a time of 1:59.41.
Jada Shorter won the 5-dive optional portion of the 1-meter dive event with a score of 218.30. Becky Czarnecki was third (198.85) and Courtney Haberer fourth (172.95).
In the voluntary dive portion of the 1-meter dive event, Shorter (150.10), Czarnecki (144.80), and Haberer (131.20) finished 2-3-4.
Olafsdottir (50 free, 100 free) and Anderson (200 free) set new personal bests while Williams (200 free), Hanson (200 IM), Baugh (200 back), and Huber (500 free) all set new season bests.
