NDHP – On January 18, 2025 at 9:51 pm, a Dodge Journey was traveling westbound on 7th Avenue N. The Fargo PD squad car was traveling southbound on 25th Street N on routine patrol. The Fargo PD squad car entered the intersection at a green light. The Dodge Journey disregarded the red traffic control signal and entered the intersection, striking the side of the squad car. Both vehicles came to rest in the middle of the intersection.

The ND Highway Patrol was requested to investigate the crash. The driver of the Journey was
placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while license
suspended.
