VERMILLION SD – North Dakota State senior Jacari White poured in a career-high 32 points to lead the Bison men’s basketball team to a dominant 103-77 win at South Dakota on Saturday afternoon. The Bison improved to 15-6 overall and 4-2 in The Summit League with their fourth straight win.
White shot 10-for-13 for the game and made five three-pointers. As a team, NDSU shot 57 percent for the contest.
It was South Dakota’s first home loss of the season, with the Coyotes falling to 10-1 at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
NDSU led 36-34 with just over five minutes left in the first half before the Bison went on a quick 11-1 run to push the margin to 12. NDSU led 54-42 at halftime and maintained at least an 11-point advantage for the entire second half.
NDSU senior Jacksen Moni finished with 17 points and five assists. Noah Feddersen recorded his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Tajavis Miller added 15 points and six boards for the Bison.
The Bison will play next on Saturday, Jan. 25, when NDSU hosts a doubleheader against North Dakota. The women’s game starts at 1 p.m., with the men’s game to follow at 4 p.m.
