Herbert L. McQueen, Jr., 57, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Friday morning, February 7, 2025 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Herbert was born October 27, 1967, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Herbert L. and Mary Ann (Hopkins) McQueen.  He graduated from Redondo High School and worked for Delta Airlines for ten years.  Herbert lived in Oregon for a few years before moving to Jamestown to own and operate Roto-Rooter.  Herb also worked for Cavendish Farms until his retirement. 

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, his trains, family genealogy, and cheering for the Denver Broncos. 

Herb is survived by his daughter, Erica (Kelly Satrom) and her children, Kiah and Sage – his grandkids were his world and he took pride in caring for them; his father, Herbert L. McQueen, Sr.; and a brother, Richard.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann.

Prayer Service – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown with Pastor Jennifer McDonald officiating.

Visitation – One hour before the service at the funeral home.

Burial – Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, at a later date.
