On February 1, 2025 at 17:14 CT, a 2020 Off Road Motorcycle was travelling westbound on 2nd St W approaching the intersection of 2nd Ave W. An eastbound 2004 Ram 1500 was making a turn onto 2nd Ave W. The 2004 Ram 1500 failed to yield to the 2020 Off Road Motorcycle. The driver of the Motorcycle died at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND. The driver of the 2004 Ram 1500 was arrested for driving under the influence and was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation of the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
