JHS Blue Jay Girls Wrestling – History is being made, record numbers are being set, and unbelievable statistics are emerging, and today could mark a new milestone for our Blue Jay Wrestling team as our 8th grade, 124lb Kaydence Golding competes in the CHAMPIONSHIP match at the 2025 North Dakota State Championships against Bowells’ Tenley Michel.

Following yesterday’s semi-final match, Kaydence executed a remarkable pin after trailing 9-3 in the second period with merely 10 seconds remaining on the clock against Pembina County North’s Markie Stremick.

Kaydence noted after an emotional win, “God grants you abilities, what you do with them is what you give back to God”

“Her tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to wrestling are yielding remarkable results” Head Coach James Meland says, “Kaydence we are already beaming with pride over your achievements, I am humbled to coach you and all our exceptional athletes, now let’s strive to make our Jamestown Wrestling community, JHS, Blue Jay fans and families even prouder, you embody the true spirit of a champion!”
