Morton County: On March 15, 2025, at approximately 10:18 p.m., a single-vehicle crash occurred on Morton County Road 83, just north of 35th Street (approximately two miles north of Exit 140).

A 2013 Nissan Titan was traveling northbound on the gravel road and failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle entered the east ditch and overturned. Three 17-year-old male juveniles were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

All three individuals were transported to Sanford Medical Center. The juvenile driver was arrested for criminal vehicular injury while operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Names of those involved will not be released due to their juvenile status (NDCC 27-20.2-21).
