At approximately 6:18 PM on March 23, 2025, a single-vehicle serious injury crash occurred along Highway 32 near milepost 87 in Barnes County. A 45 year old male from Grand Forks was traveling southbound on Highway 32 when the 2012 Kia Sorrento encountered a patch of ice on the roadway. The driver lost control, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and enter the east ditch, ultimately striking a tree. The male driver was transported by Barnes County Ambulance and then airlifted to Fargo by Sanford AirMed. The crash remains under investigation by North Dakota Highway Patrol.
