VALLEY CITY – The Valley City State University baseball team is set to host the (RV) University of Jamestown in a four-game series on April 11 and 12.
The Vikings home opener is set to be played at 1:00/3:30 p.m. on Friday April 11 at the Charlie Brown Memorial Baseball Field. Saturday’s games will be played at 12:00/2:30 p.m.
All games will be streamed on the Viking Athletics YouTube channel. Live stats will be available for each game. KOVC 1490 AM/96.3 FM will provide radio coverage for Saturday’s doubleheader.

Viking baseball is 15-22 overall and 0-8 in NSAA conference games. The Jimmies are currently 24-10 and 5-3 in conference games. They are currently receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.
Viking pitchers are averaging 10.18 K/9 while Jamestown is averaging 8.56 K/9. Jamestown leads the NSAA with a 4.59 ERA. The Vikings have a 7.91 ERA. The Jimmies lead the NSAA in batting average hitting .332 where the Vikings trail hitting .269.
