The Jamestown Choralaires present their 70th Anniversary Concert at the Basilica of St James April 25 and 26 at 7:30 pm. They will welcome the University of Jamestown’s Cantus along with the Jamestown High School Men’s Choir. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students, available from any Choralaires’ member, Looysen I Care, or at the door.

The Jamestown Choralaires were started in 1955 under the direction of Warren Duntley and accompanied by Duane Anderson. Since formed in 1955, the group has had seven directors and eleven accompanists. Charter members sang with the group until 2011.
