MESA, Ariz. – The University of North Dakota men’s golf team concluded the 2025 Summit League Men’s Golf Championship on Tuesday from Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz., finishing in a tie for 10th place with a total team score of 890 (+38).

North Dakota opened the tournament on Sunday with a 312 (+28), paced by a pair of 74s (+3) from Grayson Wetch and Joe Kortan. Lucas Feterl carded an 80 (+9), while Nate Peyerl followed with an 84 (+13). Carson Skarperud rounded out the opening day with an 86 (+15).

The Hawks found their rhythm on Monday, delivering their best team round of the tournament with a 286 (+2), trimming 26 strokes off their opening score. Wetch led the charge with a 70 (-1), and Kortan remained steady with a 72 (+1). Feterl made a strong comeback with a 72 (+1) of his own, while Peyerl improved with a 75 (+4). As a sub, Kagan Kollar contributed a solid 72 (+1) in his first round of the tournament.

North Dakota closed out the championship on Tuesday with a 292 (+8). Wetch capped off a consistent tournament with a 71 (E) to finish tied for 16th at 215 (+2). Kortan recorded a 73 (+2) to tie for 29th at 219 (+6), and Feterl shot 76 (+5) to tie for 47th at 228 (+15). Peyerl added a 79 (+8) for a three-day total of 238 (+25), placing 52nd. Kollar once again carded a 72 (+1), marking two consistent rounds.
