Kenneth Reed Jolin, 77, passed away on May 8, 2025. He was born to Harold and Marth (Rudolph) Jolin on June 23, 1947, in Edgeley, ND. He attended school in Edgeley and graduated in 1965. Ken participated in band, choir, and football. He attended Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell, SD. Ken finished his degree in music at Mankato State, Mankato, MN. He married Diane Keech in Winnebago, MN on June 9, 1968. They moved back to Edgeley where he farmed with his farther. Ken served on the Golden Glen Township board, was president of the Farmers Union Oil board, was an EMT on the Edgeley Ambulance, served on the LaMoure Weed board, and was an elder in the Edgeley Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed bowling and golf with a great group of friends through the years. Taking summer vacations with his children and grandchildren, and taking them out on the pontoon was a highlight of his summers. After he retired, Ken and Diane made many visits with family and friends throughout the country. His garden was his mini farm and he spent many hours working on it.

Ken is survived by his wife, Diane; son, Todd; daughter, Robyn and Doug Haralson and grandchildren, Hope, Faith, AJ, and Hunter; daughter, Sara and Bryan Gebhard and grandchildren, Aiden, Joshua, and Avery. He is also survived by his brother, Steven and Dory Jolin and their children, Emma, Simon, and Lauren; brother-in-law, Tom Kubis and his daughter, Nicole; sister-in-law, Cheryl and Dick Boyd and their children; and brother-in-law, Doug and Rosalee Keech and their children. Ken is also survived by an aunt, Hulda Steinwand and many cousins.

Funeral Service – 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church, Edgeley, with William Weispfenning officiating.

Burial – Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley.
