Valley City – CHI Mercy Hospital is proud to announce the recipients of the Auxiliary’s scholarships
for the 2025-2026 school year. The selection process was challenging due to the high quality of all applicants.
The CHI Auxiliary awarded five outstanding students $500 each to support their academic pursuits in healthcare-related fields. These scholarships are made possible through the Auxiliary’s dedicated fundraising efforts, including bake sales and gift shop sales.
Meet the 2025-2026 Scholarship Recipients:
● Aiden Jacobson (Northwestern University): A chiropractic student deeply involved in his community, he balances his studies with college football, service on local boards, and working for a nonprofit.
● Nick Kruta (Jamestown University): A nursing student with diverse interests, such as participating in the university’s fall musical and is a member of the air pistol team.
● Megan Larson (Jamestown University): A nursing major gaining valuable hands-on experience at a rural hospital and clinic.
● Sarah Richman (NDSU): A pharmacy student consistently earning Dean’s List honors while working at the Medical Pharmacy in Moorhead.
● Shannon Bryn (University of Mary): After graduating in May 2024 with a double major in Exercise Science and Music, she is now pursuing a master’s in athletic training.
The CHI Auxiliary relies on community support to fund these vital scholarships. Please join us for our Calendar of Cakes event on May 15th, starting at 1:00 PM! Every purchase directly contributes to providing educational opportunities for aspiring healthcare professionals.
We extend our best wishes to all applicants and congratulate the scholarship recipients on their achievements. We are confident in their success in their educational pursuits and future careers in healthcare!
