Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Oct. 9, 2013) — In response to a large amount of local job postings and the high demand for employees, the University of Jamestown Career Center will host a recruiting fair for area employers Oct. 14-18.
Ten employers each day will set up in the Nafus Student Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to recruit potential employees.
Pat Rinde, Career Center Director, says, although the main purpose of this event is to connect Jamestown employers with our students, job seekers from the community are also welcome to attend.”
The event is free, and space is limited. Employers interested in recruiting should e-mail Lexie Lueck (alueck@jc.edu <mailto:alueck@jc.edu>) with a first, second, and third day choice. Requests will be honored in the order received. Employers can also attend a second day if space permits.
If employers are interested but unable to attend, they should e-mail careers@jc.edu <mailto:careers@jc.edu> information about openings and they will be posted on a board at the event.
The Winter Career Fair will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Reiland Fine Arts Center.
