North Dakota State Representative Cindy Schrieber-Beck was a “champion” for her family, the State of North Dakota and the North Dakota  Agriculture Aviation Association to name a few.  My sympathies to her family and friends, she was a special woman.

Mixing some fun with work, most months many city employees gather for potluck lunches.  Thank you for all you do and enjoy.

Kudos and thank you to the folks who facilitated the local Soapbox Derby over the weekend, I know it is a big job.  In case folks aren’t aware, some divisions in this event qualify for the International Derby in Akron, Ohio so the event is significant in the derby world.

June 9-13 the city is holding an “Electronics Clean Up” at the Transfer Station for residents and businesses of Valley City.  You can dispose of electronics, televisions, printers and computers for ONLY $0.75 per pound (CASH ONLY).  Please respect the “rules of the day” and enjoy the service, thank you.
