NDHP – On June 7, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., a 2015 Indian Scout motorcycle driven by a 26 year old male of Fargo was traveling northbound on 36th Street South in Fargo at a high rate of speed. The driver failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of 36th Street South and Westrac Drive—a four-way stop-controlled intersection. A 2018 Ford Expedition driven by a 47 year old male of West Fargo was traveling eastbound on Westrac Drive, stopped, and proceeded into the intersection. The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the Expedition, and both vehicles came to rest within the intersection.

The driver of the motorcycle died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the Expedition was uninjured, and the passenger received minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
