A 2013 KTM 250SFX dirt bike driven by a 23-year-old male of New Town, ND was traveling south on Peninsula Road when it failed to maintain a curve in the road. The bike went off the road and struck a fence along the side of the road. The driver and passenger (19-year-old male of Parshall, ND) of the dirt bike were ejected. The driver died at the scene; the passenger was transported via ambulance to Trinity Health in Minot. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
