NDHP – On Thursday, August 14 at approximately 3:48 PM, a 2001 GMC Jimmy driven by a 48-year-old female of Valley City, ND was northbound on Highway 18 and turned west on 19th Street South failing to yield and striking a southbound 2024 GMC Sierra drive by a 37-year-old male of Horace, ND. The driver of the Jimmy was transported to Sanford Medical Center-Fargo with serious injuries and later arrested for DUI. The driver of the Sierra had minor injuries and was treated at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
