PRAIRIE VIEW TX – The North Dakota soccer team remained in the win column after sparking their offense in the second half, rolling past Prairie View A&M, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon.

The Fighting Hawks (2-0-0) opened the scoring in the second half when Amelia Loeffler converted on a corner kick, finishing a service from Yui Fujii for her second goal of the young campaign. UND doubled the lead as Charlie Basinet slotted home a feed from Natalie Enderle to make it 2-0. Enderle then found the scoresheet herself, scoring on a pass from Avery Toms to send the Hawks into the final minutes with a 3-0 advantage.

The Fighting Hawks return to Grand Forks for their home opener on Friday, Aug. 22 against Eastern Washington at Bronson Field. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. and can be seen live on Midco Sports and the Summit League Network.
