BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A 66-year-old Paynesville, MN man is dead after losing control of his motorcycle on I-94 in Barnes county Wednesday evening.
North Dakota Highway patrol says the man and his passenger, a 39-year-old woman also from Paynesville, were traveling westbound on I-94 around 5:55 p.m. when the man lost control, left the road and continued into the median.
Officials say the driver wasn’t wearing a helmet and was killed. His passenger was also not wearing a helmet, she was injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The crash is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
