Jamestown (Chamber) – Larry and Shirley Genter have been named the Week #12 Yard of the Week winners for 2025. Their home at 1325 2nd St. SE stands out for its beautiful landscaping and the pride they take in maintaining their property.

For their efforts, the Genters will receive $100 to a local greenhouse, a box of Cavendish Farms fries, an exclusive tour of the Cavendish Farms facility, and the official Yard of the Week sign to display in front of their home.

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee created the Yard of the Week program to recognize residents like the Genters who help make Jamestown a more attractive place to live. Sponsored by Cavendish Farms, the program runs through August 29, 2025, with one yard selected each week from community nominations.
