NDHP – On Tuesday, August 26 at 3:49 PM, a 45-year-old female of Fairmount, ND was riding a bicycle on County Road 81 in Richland County. A 2008 Yaris driven by a 33-year-old female of Hankinson, ND was traveling northbound on County Road 81 and struck the rear of the bicycle. The rider of the bicycle was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the Yaris had minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
