NDHP – On September 6, 2025, at approximately 11:03 a.m., a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 81-year-old male of Bismarck was traveling southbound on 15th Avenue SE approaching the intersection with Highway 34. A John Deere tractor driven by a 24-year-old male of Linton, ND was traveling eastbound on Highway 34 and was slowing to make a left turn to head north on 15th Avenue SE into Braddock. The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado disregarded the stop sign, entered the intersection, and struck the tractor on its driver’s side. The impact ejected the tractor driver, who sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. The tractor driver was airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck. The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to CHI St. Alexius Health.
This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
