Jamestown, ND – Hunger continues to impact families across Stutsman County, where nearly one in three children rely on free or reduced lunches at school. To help meet this critical need, Kiwanis Against Hunger 2025 will bring the community together for a one-day event with a powerful goal: packing 70,000 meals to support local families.
The meal-packing event will be held on Saturday, September 20, from 9 am to 12 pm at the Jamestown Rural Fire Department, 9th St SE, Jamestown, ND. It is open to businesses, schools, churches, clubs, and individuals looking to make a difference.
Partnering with Mercy Meals, volunteers will work side by side to prepare thousands of meals, providing essential nutrition to those struggling with food insecurity.
Organizers encourage everyone to mark their calendars and take part in this meaningful opportunity to give back. Together, the community can make a lasting impact and bring hope to families in need.
