In Loving Memory of Keith Bruce Struble July 3, 1942 – September 20, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Keith Bruce Struble, a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, cherished uncle, and loyal friend, who departed this life peacefully on September 20, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born on July 3, 1942, Keith lived a life defined by compassion, resilience, and unwavering commitment to his family and community. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1960 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from NDSU in 1966. While in college, Keith also performed as a member of the Gold Star band and was a member of the AGR fraternity.
After college, Keith pursued his love for the Ag community by farming, followed by building a successful custom haying and spraying business. He later transitioned into ag-related sales roles, where he spent the remainder of his career selling livestock supplements, co-owning a meat locker, and driving trucks for several fertilizer companies. Keith’s dedication to agriculture was more than a profession—it was a way of life.
Keith was also deeply committed to serving his community. He proudly served as a director for the Stutsman County Rural Fire Department for 53 years, offering steady leadership and tireless support. He was an active member of the township board, a 4-H leader for decades, was in the ND National Guard and a dedicated member of the Kiwanis Club. Most recently, Keith found joy and purpose as a member of the Masonic Shrine Lodge and El Zagal Clowns, where he participated in countless parades and community events. Donning his clown costume and becoming “Crash” the clown, Keith brought laughter and light to children and families across the region—a role he cherished deeply.
Outside of work and his community service, Keith loved to garden, refinish antique furniture and would rarely miss a Bison football game!
Keith is survived by his beloved wife Lynne; his children Lori (Clayton) Schenck and Bradley (Tina) Struble; his grandchildren Adisyn Schenck, Carter Schenck, and Brady Struble; his siblings Charlotte Stenseth, Charles (Darlene) Struble and Mary (Robert) Amundson and siblings-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews that he adored. He was a guiding light in their lives—always ready with a warm smile, a helping hand, or a story that made you laugh and think.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Louise Struble; his parents-in-law, Harold and Helen Lees; brother-in-law, Dean Stenseth; niece, Tiffany Dick; and is now reunited with his youngest son, Bruce Struble, who passed away just two short years ago. Their bond was unbreakable, and the thought of their reunion brings comfort to those who mourn.
Whether working with his hands, mentoring the next generation, serving others or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon with loved ones, Keith found meaning in the everyday moments. His legacy is one of love, generosity, and integrity.
A prayer service will be held on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Masonic Lodge in Jamestown. The funeral service will take place on Monday, October 6th at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church in Jamestown, followed by a luncheon at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials be made to the First Congregational Church and Shriner’s Hospital, in tribute to Keith’s lifelong spirit of giving.
He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
