Jamestown – Jamestown’s Frontier Village wrapped up another exciting summer season in 2025. With its blend of real North Dakota history, cool landmarks, and exhibits, the Village attracted visitors from all over the world.

An estimated 139,000 visitors from all 50 states and more than 60 countries came to see the Village between Memorial Day and September 14. Frontier Village is managed by Frontier Attractions LLC and continues to offer a glimpse into Jamestown’s past while providing fun for the whole family.

In addition to long-standing attractions, Frontier Village again offered guests ice cream and unique shopping at the General Store.

Visitor Experience Manager, Allison Limke, says the General Store delivered memorable experiences to those who visited. The store focused on selling unique Jamestown souvenirs, local products, and, of course, hand-dipped ice cream. New this year were items for dogs and specialty floats.

“Ice cream accounted for 50% of our sales at the General Store this summer,” Limke shared, highlighting one of the season’s top attractions. “We also sold 210 T-shirts, nearly 100 bags of dog treats, 171 pup cups, 228 honey products, 93 caramel rolls, 628 root beer floats, and 118 bars of soap.”

The store offered a new loyalty card program and offered a discount to veterans, active military, and badge wearing service people.

“We’d like to thank those who continue supporting our Frontier Village,” Limke added. “I’d also like to give a special thank you to our greeters, General Store staff, and vendors who make the Frontier Village an enjoyable place for everyone who stops by.”
