On Sunday, October 19 at approximately 5:07 PM, a 2009 Chevrolet Suburban driven by a juvenile was northbound from a residential driveway on the south side of ND Highway 19, turning west. A 2006 Peterbilt truck with trailer driven by a 23-year-old male of Belvidere, SD was eastbound on ND Highway 19. The Suburban failed to yield and was struck by the Peterbilt. The Suburban came to rest in the south ditch and the Peterbilt came to rest in the north ditch. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to Sanford Bismarck Medical Center, the driver of the Peterbilt was not injured. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
