Helena MT (VCSU) – The Frontier Conference has named 39 women’s cross-country student-athletes from among eleven (11) conference programs as Academic All-Conference, presented by Billings Clinic and Logan Health.
Carroll (Mont.) and Dakota State (S.D.) led the way with eight recipients each. Bismarck State (N.D.) added five recipients to the academic list, followed by Montana Tech with four recipients. Dickinson State (N.D.) recorded three recipients. Valley City State, Bellevue (Neb.), Montana Western, MSU-Northern, and Rocky Mountain (Mont.) each had two athletes on the conference academic list.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in standing and carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
For the Vikings, Emma Muggli and Billie Maye Pohlkamp have earned Academic All-Conference. Muggli is a senior from Oakes, North Dakota who is majoring in Human Services. Pohlkamp is a junior from Pierz, Minnesota who is majoring in Business Administration.

Dakota State (S.D.) led the way with 12 recipients, followed by Carroll (Mont.) with eight recipients and Rocky Mountain (Mont.) with seven recipients. Montana Tech added five athletes, while Bellevue (Neb.) tallied four athletes on the academic conference list.
Montana Western and Valley City State (N.D.) each recorded three recipients to the list, Dickinson State (N.D.) and Providence (Mont.) each registered two recipients. Bismarck State (N.D.) also had a recipient on the conference academic list.
For Valley City State, Zach Baumgartner, Mason Brehmer, and Isaac Eichhorst made the list. Baumgartner is a junior from Bertha, Minnesota. He is majoring in Health Sciences. Brehmer is a junior from Madison, Minnesota who is majoring in Business Administration. Eichhorst is a senior from Willmar, Minnesota who is majoring in Exercise Sciences and Rehabilitation.
The 2025 Frontier Conference Women’s Cross Country Championship meet will be held on Friday (Nov. 7) at Amend Park in Billings, Mont., at 11:30 a.m. (Central Time)/10:30 a.m. (Mountain Time).
The Frontier Conference Academic All-Conference awards will be presented during the awards ceremony on Friday afternoon, following the conclusion of the conference meets.
