On November 16, 2025, at approximately 7:04 a.m., a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe drive by a 37-year-old of Williston, ND was traveling westbound on US Highway 2 at mile marker 43 when it entered the median and over-corrected, continuing into the north ditch where the vehicle rolled. The driver was transported by Ray Ambulance to CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Williston, where he died from injuries sustained in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
