Jeannette Redlin, 76, of Jamestown, ND, passed away peacefully on December 3rd with her husband of 54 years, Frank Redlin, by her side, after a life devoted to her family and faith.

Born and raised on a farm near Streeter, ND, Jeannette graduated with honors from North Dakota State University and built a life grounded in faith, compassion, and service. She was an avid reader and lifelong learner whose pursuit of knowledge was rooted in her desire to help others. Over the years she held many roles—teacher (in Parkers Prairie, MN, Pettibone, and Jamestown), realtor, and addiction counselor. She dedicated countless hours to volunteering with community organizations, especially within the Catholic Church. She was blessed with a strong circle of friends and participated in prayer and sisterhood groups, finding connection and comfort in their regular coffees, breakfasts, and lunches. She had a gift for making people feel at home—both in her house and welcoming them into faith with genuine warmth and grace.

Her favorite and most cherished role, however, was being a mom to her four children, a caring mother-in-law, and a loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren. She held a special bond with each of them—they brought light to her life and she poured her heart into supporting them and watching them all grow. Nothing brought her more joy than gathering everyone together, making sure her family felt loved, cared for, and at home, and creating the traditions and memories they will carry forward.

Jeannette is survived by her husband, Frank; her four children – Nicole (Brad) Marsh (Denver, CO), Tyler Redlin (Heather Scherzer) (Moorhead, MN), Janna (Blaine) Bergstedt (Bismarck, ND), and Kayla (Branden) Larson (Jamestown, ND); and her nine grandchildren – Owen Marsh (22), Payton, Gavin and Dalton Marsh (17), Beckett Larson (9), Easton Larson (6), Witten Larson (3), Ellie Bergstedt (3) and Addilyn Bergstedt (11mo). She is also survived by her sisters, Kathleen (Duane) Enzminger, Roni (Greg) Sletto and brother-in-law, Jerome Veil. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Gertrude Becker, and her sister, JoDell Veil.

A Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12th. The funeral will take place on Saturday, December 13th at 11:00 a.m. All services will be held at St. James Basilica of Jamestown, 622 First Ave South. Visitation will be one hour before each service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. John’s Academy.
