Jamestown ND (UJ) – The St. Cloud State wrestling team delivered a dominant performance on Friday night, shutting out the University of Jamestown 53-0 at Harold Newman Arena.

St. Cloud State swept all ten weight classes, capitalizing on bonus points throughout the lineup. The dual began with a quick victory at 125 pounds as Benjamin Aranda pinned Jamestown’s Isaac Ronquillo in 59 seconds.

The Huskies secured three other victories by fall during the meet. At 165 pounds, Gabriel Smith pinned Rocker Aguilar in 1:43, and Brody Hart followed at 174 pounds with a fall over Colton Schaad at the 3:46 mark. Cole Glazier recorded the fastest win of the night for St. Cloud State, pinning Hayden Ramaeker in just 55 seconds at 184 pounds.

St. Cloud State also recorded four technical falls. Dominic Ducato (133 pounds) defeated Elijah Nose 19-4, and Jayce Luna (141 pounds) won 17-1 over Kellan Larson. Later in the dual, Joel Jesuroga earned a 19-2 tech fall over Maddox Campbell at 157 pounds, while Tyson Meyer defeated Dane Hartmann 15-0 at 197 pounds.

The closest match of the evening came at 149 pounds, where St. Cloud State’s Jeroen Smith earned a 19-13 decision over Ethan Holstein. The dual concluded at 285 pounds with Jadon Mims taking a forfeit victory.

Jamestown is back in action at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Ind., December 13-14.
