Kaley Machart, 36, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2025. Kaley was born on March 21, 1989, and grew up in Jamestown, ND. From an early age, she was known for her caring heart, kindness, and deep love for her family.

Kaley met the love of her life, Nick, and they were married on November 15, 2014. Together, they built a beautiful life and made their home in Valley City, where they raised their three sons. Being a mother was one of Kaley’s greatest joys, and she devoted herself to her family. She especially loved cheering on the boys—watching Jamison race motocross, Colton play hockey, and Avery play basketball—moments that brought her so much happiness.

Kaley developed her love of caregiving, inspired by her grandmother Marilyn, whose compassion and strength left a lasting impression on her. Kaley devoted her life to caring for others and treating each person with dignity and kindness. Her dedication led her to open her own home health business, Elderbee Care, where she poured her heart into supporting families and individuals in need. Through her work, Kaley made a lasting difference in the lives of many.

Kaley will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence brought comfort and light to so many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Kaley also had a special love for her dogs, Cooper and Marty, who were constant companions and brought her endless joy.

Kaley is survived by her loving husband, Nick; and her three sons, Jamison, Colton, and Avery. She is also survived by her mother, Julie (Tim) Hieggelke; her father, Kim Stiefel; and her siblings, Kelsey, Payton, Riley, and Cody. She leaves behind her aunt Jennifer (Rich) Bourne-Hastings; uncle Mark (Lisa) Teckenburg; and aunt Judy (Keith) Zhorela. She is further survived by her mother- and father-in-law, Tom and Stacy Machart; sister-in-law Kylie (Tyler) Kunkel; brother-in-law Josh Shaw; and special niece, Kinsley, along with many other family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Kaley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wayne and Marilyn Teckenburg, and her grandmother, Frieda Stiefel.
