VC- Valley City residents and businesses will have an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted electronics during an Electronics Clean Up scheduled for January 12 through January 16, 2026. The event will take place at the Valley City Transfer Station and is open throughout the week during regular business hours.

Accepted items include televisions, computers, printers, and other electronic devices. The cost to recycle electronics during this event is seventy five cents per pound. Payment must be made by cash or credit card, and credit card processing fees will apply.

The Electronics Clean Up is open to all Valley City residents and businesses and provides a convenient way to recycle multiple items at one time. The program helps keep electronic waste out of landfills while giving both households and businesses a responsible disposal option.

The Valley City Transfer Station is located at 11476 35th Street SE in Valley City. The facility is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, residents may call 701 845 0314.

Residents who prefer a free disposal option may bring one television and one computer set per month to the Fargo Hazardous Waste Site, located at 606 43 ½ Street North.
