Delores Sam, 76, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 at Eventide – Jamestown.

Delores was born May 8, 1949, in Medina, ND, the daughter of Harry G. and Velda M. (Weckworth) Sam. She attended school at Medina Public School. Delores enjoyed working at various places in Jamestown, including McDonald’s, Burger King, Ponderosa, Wagon Masters, Easter Seals, and the Goodwill Store. She also enjoyed time working with the Green Thumb program and Experience Works. Disney World and Mt. Rushmore were Delores’ favorite destinations.

Delores is survived by nieces, nephews, and a great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Delbert and Howard; sister, Ardella (Joe) James; and brother-in-law, Gary.

Memorial Service – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, with Pastor Erik Weber officiating.

Burial – Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, in the spring
