Jacqueline Larson, age 64, of Jamestown, North Dakota, passed away peacefully in her home. She was born on April 11, 1961, in Breckenridge, Minnesota, and graduated from Breckenridge High School.

Jackie was a woman of remarkable strength, determination, and heart. Throughout her life, she held many roles and never shied away from hard work, including time in a jewelry shop, owning her own auto cleaning business, serving as a CNA, driving semis, and operating heavy machinery. She took great pride in working alongside men in demanding fields and proving she could do anything they could — often with a smile and even an arm-wrestling win to back it up.

Jackie was known for her beauty, positivity, and warm spirit. She was once asked to participate in the Miss North Dakota pageant, but from early on, her heart was centered on family. She loved antiques, cooking, gardening, and helping others, and above all was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest pride.

Jackie was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and found great comfort in her faith.

Jackie is survived by her son, Branden Larson; her sister, Winnie Gutzmer; her niece, Amber Kania; and her beloved grandchildren, Beckett Larson (9), Easton Larson (7), and Witten Larson (3).

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Fredrick Gutzmer; her mother, June Wiese Gutzmer; her brother, Eugene Otto Gutzmer; and her son, Bryan Larson.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Friday, January 16, at Kingdom Hall, located at 1415 12th Ave NE, Jamestown.

Jackie will be remembered for her strength, her generosity, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her.
