LeAnne DeLores Johnson Skretting, 82, Valley City passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Mercy Hospital, Valley City.

LeAnne Delores Johnson was born at Mercy Hospital in Valley City on November 19, 1943, the daughter of Deforest and Agnes (Brown) Johnson. She attended school in Valley City and was married to Jerry Skretting on January 26, 1963.

LeAnne was a waitress for 33 years including years at the Prairie Pub-Pantry and Hi-Liner Café. She also spent 16 years house cleaning. LeAnne shared many years with Gordon Hansen and cared for him for several years before his passing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving son Todd, brother Arlie and his wife Virginia, two sisters and their husbands, Patsy and Donald Piehl and Joanne and Dick Martin, and her special aunts DeLores Yaeger, Amy Gregerson and Marilyn Sorensen .

LeAnne is survived by her son Jeffrey; several nieces and nephews and puppy, Teddy.

The funeral service for LeAnne will be 2 pm Wednesday, February 25, at Traditions Funeral Service, Oliver-Nathan Chapel, Valley City. Visitation will be one hour before the service in the chapel.
