FanDuel Sports Network North (previously seen on CSi Ch 25 & HD 78-625) has effectively gone dark following its final broadcast April 30, 2026., marking the end of 26 years of local sports coverage in the region. On May 6, the satellite signal for Fanduel Sports North went dark, indicating the end of that channel. Related Announcement: Comcast drops 11 Fanduel RSNs.

In late May, CSi will relocate ESPN analog from channel 14 to channel 25. ESPN HD will remain on 84.14. The TV listings channel will move from channel 77 to Channel 14. And SYFY analog ch 22 will move to channel 77. SYFY HD will remain unchanged on HD 112.6.

Channel 22 will be repurposed for Internet bandwidth use and not used for TV.

Key Details on the Shutdown of Fanduel Sports North:

  • Final Broadcast: The network wrapped up its operations after the Wild’s final playoff game on April 30.
  • Winding Down: This follows the bankruptcy of parent company Main Street Sports Group (formerly Diamond Sports Group), which failed to secure a buyer or additional financing. It was reported they closed the Minneapolis office in mid-April, along with many other offices across the US.
  • Impacted Teams:, see below. 9 Major League Baseball teams move to MLB streaming.
  • What’s Next? The Wild and Timberwolves are expected to move to new, likely over-the-air or direct-to-consumer streaming, platforms next season. That is unknown today.

The network’s shutdown is part of a larger, nationwide collapse of the Regional Sports Network (RSN) model. Main Street Sports Group is winding down operations in early May, dealing with the financial collapse of the 15 regional sports channels it operates. Details from the Network have been slim to none.
