The 55th Annual Jamestown Stock Car Stampede is set for Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, bringing an action-packed weekend of racing to Jamestown.
Racing begins at 7 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday, with an estimated 250 to 275 drivers expected to compete across multiple classes.
Friday’s schedule includes heat races and Pole Dashes for each class. Passing points will determine transfers into the Pole Dash, with the top 16 overall passing-point drivers qualifying for Saturday’s A-Main features.
Saturday will feature B-Main races followed by A-Main features in all classes, where Stampede champions will be crowned. A vendor show will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and fans can also enjoy a Frisbee toss during the races and breakfast at the grounds.
Featured classes and top prize money include:
- WISSOTA Late Models — $5,055 to win
- IMCA Modifieds — $3,055 to win
- INEX Legends — $2,055 to win
- IMCA Sport Mods — $2,055 to win
- IMCA Stock Cars — $2,055 to win
- WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds — $2,055 to win
- WISSOTA Street Stocks — $2,055 to win
- Bombers/Pure Stocks/Hobby Stocks — $1,055 to win
- Jr. Slingshots — $155 to win
Grandstands open at 3 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $25 for adults 18 and older, $10 for students ages 13-17, and free for youth 12 and under.
Pit gates open at 1 p.m. both days. Drivers are encouraged to register ahead of time through MyRacePass. Race cars may begin lining up Wednesday, with no security fee for 2026.
Fans unable to attend in person can watch the racing live through Dacotah Speedway TV.
