Jamestown (Valley News Live) – A Jamestown man has been arrested in connection with multiple shots fired during a downtown altercation last week, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Investigators identified a person of interest during the course of the investigation, which led to two search warrants, according to police. The person of interest was taken into custody without incident. Police said evidence collected in the investigation established probable cause that the incident created a substantial risk of serious bodily injury or death to another person.
Muhammad Abdullah, 22, of Jamestown, was arrested on suspicion of reckless endangerment, a Class B felony, according to police. He was taken to Stutsman County Corrections to await formal charges. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible. The Jamestown Police Department was assisted by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office and the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
