UJfull(CSi, UJ)  — Actor Timothy Mooney will be bringing his one-man show on the life and plays of the

great French comic playwright Moliere (Jean Baptiste Poquelin, 1622-73) to

Jamestown this week. His free show, sponsored by the Convocations Committee at the

University of Jamestown, will take place on Tuesday, November 12, at 7 p.m. in

DeNault Auditorium. Moliere, regarded as one of France’s comic geniuses, wrote

plays that are still relevant and genuinely funny today. Mooney, praised by the

Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as a ?€?Moliere incarnation?€? and

?€?outstanding,?€? is making his final tour as the playwright after 13 years on the

road. The show will be given in English, using Mooney’s own translations.
