Jamestown (CSi) A 40 year old Jamestown woman was treated for injuries following an incident Thursday evening.
Jamestown Police reports Tanja McMillan of Jamestown was picked up by a taxi from a Southeast Jamestown bar.
The cab driver, 49 year old Duuane Erickson of Jamestown said McMillan was intoxicated, refused to give him a destination address, and then became combative, striking him in the face. Later, as the taxi slowed she jumped out of the vehicle in the parking lot of the North Stop-N-Go parking lot, following other attempts to jump out.
She landed on the parking lot’s concrete and suffered cuts and bruises above her right eye.
She was taken by the Jamestown Area Ambulance to Jamestown Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Erickson wore his seat belt and was not injured. McMillan did not wear a seat belt.
No citations were issued.
