HumanServicwBISMARCK (CSi)  – The N.D. Interagency Coordinating Council will meet on Thurs., Dec. 5, 2013, from 1 to 5 p.m. (CST) by means of video conference sites located throughout North Dakota.

The council meets quarterly to advise the N.D. Department of Human Services on statewide coordination of early intervention services and prevention awareness for children with disabilities and at-risk children from birth through five years of age. 

The public is invited to participate in the meeting from these locations:

Meeting agenda items include a review of the developmental disability slot report, Part C and early intervention budget, and the American Academy of Pediatrics clinical report on medical home implementation.  There will also be an update on the traditional waiver and autism waiver as well as discussion on the impact of the Affordable Care Act on early intervention and federal updates regarding state early childhood initiatives.
