Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Sept 6, 2012) — Jamestown Police is looking for a man who stole a car and broke into several unlocked cars early Tuesday.
Police Det. Sgt. Leroy Gross said the crimes happened around the 300 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast.
The man allegedly stole a car with the keys left in the vehicle, which became stuck in the alley of the 300 block of Fourth Avenue.
The suspect broke into five unlocked cars and stole a laptop computer valued at $300 plus a set of keys.
A vehicle owner approached the suspect outside and the suspect raised his arm and told the victim he had a gun.
The victim did not pursue the suspect.
The suspect is described as in his early- to mid-20s, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt allegedly stole a car with the keys left in the vehicle.
