Jan 12: Poker Tournament Benefit Humane Society

Jamestown (CSi) The James River Humane Society has set a fundraiser Poker Tournament this Sunday January 12, 2014, at the 281 Stop in Pingree.

On Friday’s Wayne Byers Shoe on CSi Cable 2, JRHS, President, Matt Opsahl said registration is from noon to 1-p.m., with late registrations taken until 6-p.m.

He added that the Potato Bar fundraiser will be on March 8, 2014, from 5-p.m., to 7-p.m., at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jamestown.

Tickets are $10 each and are available at the shelter or at the door.

There will be drawings for cash prizes.

Presently there are 20 cats and 10 dogs available for adoption.

The James River Humane Society is located off the I-94 Bloom Exit.
