No Travel Advisory Lifted for eastern North Dakota; Travel Alert
remains in effect
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the
North Dakota Highway Patrol have LIFTED the No Travel Advisory
for eastern North Dakota including the city of Grand Forks and
areas north of Fargo. A Travel Alert remains in effect for the
area due to blowing snow creating areas of scattered ice,
scattered snow drifts, and reduced visibility. In addition, NDDOT
plows are now back out in full force in the Grand Forks area.
Areas included in the Travel Alert are Jamestown, Valley City,
Grand Forks, Fargo, Wahpeton and surrounding areas.
All travelers are encouraged to monitor road conditions as weather conditions occur and use caution while traveling. For road information, call 511 from any type of phone or go to the website: www.dot.nd.gov. NDDOT releases information to inform the public about travel conditions throughout the state.
If you become stranded, motorists should stay with their vehicle and call 911 for emergency assistance.
